Grilled sausage

Naku…If you are hungry and you really want a fast cooking meal without the frills, this is it. Grilled sausage. You don’t have to make the sausage. Go to your favorite meat shop or grocery. In my case, when I was still in the Philippines, its Pamilihang Bayan ng Marikina or Concepcion Market. Select your sausage – Longganisa (Garlic, Sweet, Lukban, etc.), Italian Sausage (Hot or Mild, Honey Garlic).

When you get home, heat the grill or ihawan, or the stove-top grill. While waiting for the grill to heat, cut the sides of the sausage. When the grill is hot, place the sausages on the grill. Rotate the sausage every so often so that is cooks through evenly.

Once cooked, serve!

Ingredients:

Sausage (your choice)

  1. Heat grill.
  2. While waiting for the grill to heat up, cut the sides of the sausage.
  3. When the grill is hot, place the sausages on the grill. Rotate the sausage every so often so that is cooks through evenly.

Serve! Enjoy!

Grilled sausage with sawsawang suka, fried egg, tomatoes, cucumber and garlic fried rice.
